How will I get to know how much I will be paid for each survey?
The reward points for each survey will vary depending on the topic and the content of the survey. These can vary from 5-200 points and can be even more in some special cases. Currently, 1 reward point is equivalent to INR 1.

Will I always be rewarded for taking part in research?
In general you will be rewarded by a credit to your Xcel-Online Surveys account.
The rewards work like this:
At the beginning of every survey we ask certain questions to validate your eligibility to carry on the survey. Once selected to progress, simply complete any research and we will reward you with points, clearly stated up-front, which will be credited directly to your Xcel-Online Surveys account within 4-6 weeks.
If we identify that a respondent is not honest in his/her approach to research, for example by providing meaningless answers or trying to do multiple completions of the same survey, we cannot reward this respondent. However, withholding a reward from someone occurs very rarely and is only used as a means to stop the few dishonest people from spoiling the opportunity for everyone else.

Where can I see the balance of and redeem the reward points I have earned?

You can see the details like the number of surveys you have taken till date, the reward points you have earned, how many points you have redeemed until now and what is the balance, after clicking on the ‘MY ACCOUNT’ section.

To redeem the points you have earned, you will need to go to REDEMPTION CENTER section on your homepage. You can redeem a minimum of 325 points. No redemptions can happen for lesser points.

The mode of payment for these redeemed points will be cheque and TDS will be deducted as per Government of India rules. TDS certificate will be issued to the concerned party.

I do not seem to be receiving many surveys, why is this?
There are a couple of reasons why this might be happening:
a) You could log into Xcel-Online Surveys website using your Xcel-Online Survey username and password, go to 'Update personal details' under EDIT MY ACCOUNT section and make sure that your email address is listed correctly. If it is not, then you will not receive the invitations we are sending.
b) If you elected not to answer the questions relating to personal and household income in the Registration Survey, this will reduce the number of surveys you are invited to participate in, simply because for many surveys this is vital information. If you would like to check/change these answers, please log in to the Xcel-Online Surveys website and go to the 'MEMBERS PROFILE' section.
c) If you elected to not complete the Profiler Surveys, this will also reduce the number of surveys you are invited to, simply because we have more information on the people who have completed this survey and they will therefore be invited to surveys more often. To access the Basic Profiler, log-on to your account and click on ‘Edit Profile’.

Why haven't I received any credit yet?
When you have successfully completed a survey, the reward is held in pending status until the entire study has drawn to a close and the data has been processed. Please keep in mind that studies can take up to a month to finish, depending on the size and complexity of the study. Your Xcel-Online Surveys account will generally be credited within 4-6 weeks of successfully completing a survey.

If you have not received your credit after 6 weeks or a credit you were expecting has not shown up in your pending credit, please email us so that we can investigate the delay.

What should I do if I forget my username or password?
If you forget your password, you are able to request a password reminder e-mail by clicking on the link 'Forgot password'. Once you click on this link, you just need to enter your valid email address, and you will automatically receive a password reminder e-mail. The 'Forgot password' link is just below the 'Member Login' on Xcel-Online Surveys homepage.

NOTE: For security reasons, we cannot access your password and as a result you will have to request it through the Xcel-Online Surveys website. If you forget your username, please email us

How do I invite my family and friends to join the panel?
Just log on to your account and go to the 'Invite Friends' section, then follow the steps. For panelists who refer friend and their friend registers and take his/her first paid survey - they get reward points. For every referred member who joins the panel, the person referring will get 10 reward points each.

Why do I need fill the personal details during the Registration process?
This will help us to understand which survey you'll be interested in!


To make sure the surveys we send you match your interests, characteristics (demographics such as age, gender, etc.), geographic location (state or country where you live) and technology use (type of computer, Internet access, etc), we rely on the information you provide during the registration process. It also helps us to create a panel of consumers that represents the entire population.
When we conduct a study, we analyze and summarize the survey results to highlight certain demographic, geographic and technology-related information. To keep our commitment to your privacy, we always look at survey results ‘inaggregate’. We group responses of panel members together based on their member profile characteristics, and never look at results on an individual basis.

Can other members of my household become panelist?
Yes, others members of your household may join our panel, but they must use their own unique user names and email addresses, such that they are different from yours. All panelists must complete their own Registration Process before they become eligible to participate in surveys.

Who is eligible to join Xcel-Online Surveys?
This panel is open to any legal resident of the India who is 13 years and older at the time of registration. If you are above 13 years but below 18 years, points / prize money will go to your parent/guardian

Can I register more than once with Xcel-Online Surveys?
No. We do not allow people to create more than one account with us. We are interested in the opinions of individuals and we cannot have people filling in the same survey for us more than once. We regard the creation of more than one account as fraudulent behaviour and it will result in the termination of your membership. If you think that you may have created multiple accounts by mistake, please email us.

Is there a cost to joining Xcel-Online Surveys?
No! Participation is completely voluntary and free. There is no charge or fee to join Xcel-Online Surveys. In fact, you may win points/prizes when you complete our surveys!

How do I get invited to take part in surveys?
Once you have become a member of Xcel-Online Surveys, you will be immediately eligible for invitations to take part in research. Please see our Terms and Conditions which set out the obligations of Market Xcel Data Matrix Pvt. Ltd. in respect to invitations to take part in research.

However, in general terms, where a client needs the views of someone who, for example, lives where you do, then you will be put forward for an invitation to their survey. You will be carefully selected to participate in the research should your personal profile fit the requirements of the study. Once you have been identified as a potential participant of the study we will send you an invitation to the email address you registered upon signing up.

In what ways will you contact me?
We contact you as set out in our Privacy Policy. Primarily we will contact you by email, however on occasion we may contact you by SMS or by calling you for a phone interview.


You will always be able to clearly identify any communication from us - emails and letters will be very clearly from Xcel-Online Surveys, text messages will always say 'Market Xcel', and in any phone call we will clearly tell you that it is someone calling on behalf of Market Xcel.

Majorly, we will communicate with you through e-mails only and these e-mails will be sent to you only on the e-mail id you have used to register with Xcel-Online Surveys.
All our surveys are for genuine research purposes and your answers will never be used to try to sell you something at a later date.
